"Serpentine Bird" Jornada Mogollon Culture/ NM Circa: 900-1400 A.D. 18" x 9"
These sculptures represent petroglyph designs created by members of prehistoric tribes that were part of what is now the Southwestern United States. Their art dates back 600-2100 years ago.
These designs have been recreated in 3/16" steel with a rusted patina finish and clear coat lacquer. Every effort has been made to render the designs as they appeared on the rocks where they were created.
