I am retired and now have an art studio in our home in Manitou Springs.  I enjoy painting nearly every day.   My subjects are chosen from our large backyard garden, places I've been and people I know.  Although I had several art classes in high school and university I did not take painting seriously until later in life.  Now I find the creative impulse unstoppable!   We all need beauty in our lives!
